Well, we have a tentative birthday set! Only 11 days away too! I can't believe I will be a mommy in 11 days!! (or less if this little girl decides to come earlier)
Everything is still looking great with the baby and I still feel really good! Uncomfortable, yes, but I know it is all worth it in the end! Adam is in playing for the Charlotte Knights this season and will have the best shot at making it home in time if we set a date for this little one to come. So that's what we did! It works out that Adam and the team are in Columbus, OH at that time so that makes it even easier (shorter distance) for him to travel home.
The plan is to admit 5pm on April 27th and have Adam come home really early in the morning on the 28th when they will start pitocin to get my labor moving. Of course all this depends on me not going into labor in the next 11 days! Please pray that she stays put!! I know we are both nervous and excited but absolutely cannot wait to meet our little girl!!
Today's plan: come up with my to-do list for the next ten days! #1 get the nursery completely organized! Pictures to come!

Pregnancy Brain
So I got pregnant everyone told me about this thing "pregnancy brain." Apparently being pregnant makes you loose your mind occasionally....well, I can confirm this is true!
Over the course of the past eight months I have done sill little things that I guess can fall into the category of pregnancy brain but the third trimester and specifically the last week have really affirmed the fact that I have lost it!
Last week I shipped Adam's car to him in Charlotte, where he is for the season, with my keys in his jeep....oops :( and I seem to have misplaced my extra set! Today takes the cake though! I ran to the grocery store to get a couple things (two bags worth) I checked out, put the cart away and got into the car and drove home. I walked in the door, checked the laundry, went into the kitchen with the mail and looked around...."where are the groceries I just bought?" In the car? No, I left them back at the store in the cart...hmm. I drove back to the grocery store in the rain and they were still in the cart in the parking lot, just a little wet.
So, "pregnancy brain" is real, I have it and I want it gone. Bad news is I heard "new mommy brain" is worse! Add sleep deprivation into the mix and this could get ugly! A long update is coming soon, as promised a month or so ago. Yes, I know I am being terrible lately but I have a lot on my plate right now.
Quick baby update: The end is in sight! Thank goodness! I don't know how much longer I can last. I am uncomfortable and tired but I know it will all be worth it in less than a month!! I am at the doctor every week now and everything looks great, baby looks great and things are moving along. I will keep everyone updated as the days wind down! Nursery is almost done (nothing like waiting until the last minute!) Clothes are washed and I have a baby shower this weekend! Can't wait to see all my family and friends! Love to all!
PS: The Daddy-to-be is doing well and done with Spring Training! Now he is just getting the season started and waiting for the phone call to come home!
